If I could leave no star, I would. I ran in there with my dog today because she had her first seizure ever. I understand it was 10 minutes til close, but it was the closest place to me and I didn’t know what to do. I rush in there crying not knowing what to do, and the receptionist looks at me like I’m dumb. She said they couldn’t help because they were closing and gave me a pamphlet and a bottle of water. What a joke.

I have been taking my pets (dogs, cats, sugar gliders, hamsters, even ducks and geese) to PLVH for over 35 years! Everyone takes the time to help. I even named my French Bulldog after Dr. McCollum. I fully trust their opinions and decisions. My current girl has anxiety and comes off as aggressive. She loves and trusts Dr. Kopp (probably because he has saved her life twice literally) and becomes a big softie when she hears him. Dr. Pennington is so knowledgeable too. They truly are "caring people caring for your pets".

I came to Priest Lake Veterinary Hospital after Dr. Roy Butler at Antioch Pike Veterinary Hospital recommended them for ongoing care closer to home. From my very first phone call, the staff was exceptional. Everyone was friendly, compassionate, and genuinely attentive to my concerns as a new tortoise mama. My baby tortoise, Roshi, was diagnosed with a respiratory infection and sent home with medication. Two days later, the office texted to check on him, ask how he was doing, and make sure he was taking his medicine. That thoughtful follow-up meant so much to me and showed how much they truly care about their patients. I am very grateful for the kindness and care Roshi received, and I feel confident that he is in good hands. We are looking forward to his follow-up appointment in two weeks!
