We've been taking our dogs here for 3 years. It's close to our house and we love to support local. Today our dogs was throwing up blood. I called to see if they'll see her. Dr Cox said they wouldn't see her and to go to the emergency hospital in knoxville. Here they did xrays and basic blood panels. Charged us $1400 and said she's fine and that it's common for dogs with irritated stomach to do that. I guess I'm extremely confused why our own vet couldn't do that. Avoid us the emergency room expenses and the drive to knoxville. I just don't think you should run a clinic if you can't handle dogs with common stomach issues. I'm very disappointed and understandably upset that I had to pay $1400 for something my vet should've been able to do for a couple of hundred dollars. I just wish it felt like we can count on them when we need them and not just the random vaccines and preventative stuff. They might as well just be a retail shop and not a vet

I was looking for a family owned vet that I could trust with my senior dog. I am glad that I walked into Kingston Animal Hospital! My dog typically gets very anxious at the vet, but he was rolling over for belly rubs halfway through the initial screening! Dr. Cox was so caring with my buddy and made sure I had all of my (many) questions answered. I went in to have a possible infection checked out but she took the time to understand the root cause of his aches and pains. She is also connecting me with a specialist for an unrelated issue to make sure he is fully taken care of. Mr. Cox was also extremely helpful and kind throughout the visit. Usually my dog is panting and nervous after he gets taken for work in the back room. Not here! He was napping while we waited for the results. I can't say enough how much I appreciate the care from Kingston Animal Hospital. It is a relief that I have someone I know has my best friend's health and comfort in mind!

Been coming to this vet for 10+ years, with all my fur babies (which is a lot!). They offer friend, professional, and personalized service. I don't trust anyone else!
