I cannot say enough good things about the La Vergne Veterinary Clinic! I truly thought I was going to have to say goodbye to my 20-year-old cat, Lewis, after he developed some concerning symptoms over the past week. Thankfully, Dr. Prater took the time to run thorough blood work, and to my surprise, Lewis is as healthy as a 14-year-old cat! Dr. Prater carefully explained every test result, answered all of my questions, and never made me feel rushed. His compassion, knowledge, and attention to detail are second to none. A huge thank-you as well to Samantha and the entire team. Everyone was so kind, caring, and genuinely invested in Lewis's well-being. It's obvious they truly love what they do and treat every pet like family. I will never take my cats anywhere else. If you're looking for a veterinary clinic that truly cares about your pets, I wholeheartedly recommend La Vergne Veterinary Clinic! The people are so nice and care about the animals, they helped me try to find options for help to an injured kitten I’d found, while other vets I’d called just tried to rush me off the phone or basically tell me to claim the baby and pay whatever they charged. The love they showed really touched me and due to them being closer than my pets previous vet I changed offices. Took my cat in for her yearly and the Dr really took his time with her and explained so much (he was in there for like 30mins lol) and I’m so use to most drs only being in with you for like 10 mins. I’m glad I made the switch and hope their services stays the same through the years.

I have been bringing my pets here for many years (20 years at least). I really like the Vet and the team members I have interacted with have always been nice and accommodating. I would recommend this vets office for your pets healthcare needs. They have reasonable hours, rates and even offer some grooming services if needed. When I had a dog that was unable to be crated, they worked with me on a major surgery to ensure the timing would work for me to pick the pet up before ever needing to crate her. This kind of accommodation is very helpful and it shows they care.
