5 stars is not enough. We took our miniature dachshund, Quinn, in for emergency IVDD surgery and everyone was absolutely wonderful. Every single person we interacted with was so amazingly kind and empathetic. Every Dr. we spoke to took time to answer questions, we received daily updates, and got to visit our pup while she healed.
Both my wife and I work in (human) healthcare and the level of care that Quinn received as a patient and we received as her owners was everything you would hope it to be.
To every single one of you that cared for our girl, gratitude doesn't even begin to cover it but thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You are all amazing.
I hope this reaches the right crew because I need everyone to understand just how wonderful they all were.
August 12th, 2026 at roughly 930pm, I knew my cats time was coming at some point. She was old and declining and refused food. She had been trying to hide the night before and I wasn’t understanding why at first but I laid with her and talked with her so the night of august 12th was when she couldn’t even move to find a hiding space. I was distraught so my best friend brought us to this clinic and she had to help with the decision making. The fine details were a blur to me so I wanted to share what I remember because, yes, it was that important.
My heart was bursting and I couldn’t get out what I needed to say. The young man at the front desk was so incredibly sweet with me and my baby. The other male nurse came to get pippa and we all had to discuss end of life immediately. They did not rush me or make me feel like I was a problem or anything. They communicated everything in just the right way that made me feel like I was somewhere safe with my Pippa. They gave me a private space to spend her last moments. When they came to get her, they were so gentle with her. You could really tell that they had so much love for animals. Even in that time of distress for me I knew I was somewhere safe with her. I had never trusted anyone with her but, in that moment, I felt like God sent a crew of angels to guide her and me.
A girl delivered her to me wrapped in a box because I chose a home burial and she too, was just so kind.
This has been the hardest and darkest moment of my life because Pippa was my soulmate. I’m still so lost but the smallest mercy I’ve had is knowing that there is a crew of people here who genuinely care about our fur babies and did not judge a screaming, crying girl who was losing her entire world. So, I want them to remember her not in her death but the life she had and know she was so very loved. And thank you from the deepest part of my heart for everything you’ve all done for her that night. She loved to cuddle, read with me, wait by the door for me to come home from work and most of all, she liked when it was just she and I. We self isolated together because people overwhelm us. We just liked each other, our bed and our books. That’s how I want her remembered.
And I am eternally grateful she spent her last moments with others that cared for her as well.
Firstly, I have never posted a review of any place, but this situation requires it. Do not waste your time going to these people. They do not care about animals or humans. My local vet referred me and told me to go to the clinic immediately. I drove 2 and a half hours to get there. My two Cavaliers were taken back for vitals almost immediately and I filled out paperwork while the front desk people had personal conversations, ate, and laughed. My dogs were in emergency situations. Two hours later, my dogs are still in “the back” and I was shown to a tiny exam room that was not an exam room, more like a little storage room. After 3 more hours of waiting, I saw no one but heard the Dr. in the next exam room. Then I was told that the doctor said that my dogs were not urgent without ever seeing my dogs or me, I asked for my dogs back at this point to drive the 2 1/2 hours back home. Two admitting nurses seemed to be the only people in the building that cared. I would never allow my animals to go there again. The place was dirty, terribly run, and a waste of time.Don’t go and put your animal or yourself thru the torture. I walked out, have no idea of price because I didn’t stop at their “desk”. I’m not paying for my dogs or me to be tortured. MS State Vet school diagnosed my dogs today and yes it was an urgent situation.
I went here after I found a kitten on the road, and tried to see if there was a chance to save her. They couldn't do anything as she had so many problems it would have just made her live in pain more than likely, or she may have never recovered anyways. It destroyed me, but if I'm ever in a situation where my current cat needs to pass in comfort it'll be here. These folks were very accommodating to me and my mother, and they made sure right before the end that the kitten wasn't in pain. She purred in my arms and I knew I did the right thing. I hate that I couldn't have done more for her, and I know that it's not my fault, but god it didn't make this any easier. Thank you staff for taking care of Little Face on August 6th, 2026. I was so caught in my feelings I didn't even learn your names. Keep doing what you guys do. I wish you the best.
Excellant care at this facility. Staff was very kind. Specialists were top notch. Would recommend going here in a heartbeat. Even though the pup I sent here was a skinny shelter stray, they treated him like he was worth a million.
