The Dr. and staff was amazing with helping out with my sick ferret. They also sent a thinking of you card. That was really nice of them. I appreciate the card. Now my ferret is finally resting now.

UPDATE: turns out there WAS a foreign object obstructing her intestine. This vet did nothing to investigate further when the xray was “unclear” and didnt bother to consider her symptoms were pointing to something not being right. So glad I immediately switched vets, he went above and beyond did multiple X-rays annd ultrasounds an bloodwork, and ultimately suggested I take her to ER care because he knew there was nothing more he was capable of diagnosing. He truly cared about my dog’s wellness. His referral to the ER saved my baby’s life, she’s out of surgery and recovering. ❤️ I started going here about a year ago just for basic vaccines and checkup. No issues at the time. However - I have to come and leave this review because since then I’ve had several issues. 1- they made me go in for a heart worm test and wouldn’t renew the simparica trio prescription without it even tho she was already on it, and they later called and said oh whoops looks like she didn’t need that $75 test after all sorry! So that was annoying. Fast forward..the worst part. My dog got very sick a week ago, she was vomiting and not eating or drinking water. I called to see if they could examine her and they said well you can do a walk in or make an appt for tomorrow. They failed to tell me a walk in was $150, surprised me with it later. Had I known, I would have waited because she wasn’t entirely concerningly bad. So I took her in, they did an xray and said they didn’t seem to find anything, could be gastroenteritis so they gave her a shot and sent me on my way. After I left they even sent an email saying “oops forgot to give you diagnosis and instructions for care” like who forgets that???? They made assumptions instead of due diligence with bloodwork after not sure if there was anything on the xray. The shot helped she was slightly better that night. But by the next day she was not eating again. At that point, I went to a new vet and turns out her condition was definitely needing more attention. We still haven’t found the root cause but the new vet has gone above and beyond to save my baby girl. Had I continued going here I feel pretty confident my girl would not have made it. This could have been treated better and sooner had they cared enough about her, she might never have gotten as bad as she did but instead she has had to be hospitalized for her condition becoming so much worse. Honestly….from other reviews I’ve seen I’m not the first to experience this.

Always a great experience! My dog gets really nervous, and will sometimes act aggressively if she's scared. They have always given her the space she needs to come to them first, and have treated her with so much kindness. Shout out to Amy, she is so awesome!! Dr. Dixon has an amazing crew!!
